RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

1. Our Commitment Kudu Pets is committed to complying with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa. This policy outlines your rights as a consumer.

2. 14-Day Return Right (Section 56 & 20 CPA) You may return any product within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange if:

  • The product is defective, unsafe, or not fit for its intended purpose
  • The product does not match the description or sample shown
  • You exercised your right to cancel a direct marketing transaction (cooling-off period)

3. Conditions for Return

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition (unless defective)
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required
  • Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., mouthpieces, personal care accessories) cannot be returned unless defective

4. Defective or Damaged Goods Under Section 56 of the CPA, if a product is defective within 6 monthsof purchase, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund at your election — at no cost to you.

We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method
  • Shipping costs for non-defective returns may be deducted unless the return is due to our error

7. Exclusions The following are not eligible for return unless defective:

  • Items damaged due to misuse or negligence
  • Items returned after 14 days without a defect claim
  • Digital products or downloadable content

8. Governing Law This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
